Product Description:
- It is a prusik ring model sewn with a 5.5 mm cord.
- Used to form a prusik knot for added security during a rope descent.
- Works with Prusik or french prusik.
- Suitable for use with 8.1 mm to 10 mm ropes.
- Thanks to its knotless structure, it takes up little space and is easy to work with.
- Aramid core: Similar to Kevlar, it is very strong and at the same time resistant to high temperatures, unlike Dyneema, which melts very easily and also easily.
- The Beal Jammy is a prusik ring made of 5.5 mm cord with an aramid core and polyamide sheath. It can be used with a single half rope or both, as well as single or half ropes.
- It can be used to make a prusik knot for increased safety during rope descent and to form a rope clamp for pull/slit recovery. The knots used can either be the standard Prusik to clip onto a carabiner, where the cord is wound multiple times before being passed from one end to the other, or the French Prusik, where both ends are attached to the carabiner.
