See All Your Dog's Movements
The Astro handheld and T 5 (or T 5 mini) dog device proudly carry high sensitivity GPS receiver/transmitters. Both the T 5 and T 5 mini have a GPS antenna located on the top of the device and are designed to keep the flexible, flexible and stainless steel radio antenna upright for the best reception so you can track your dog's position even under dense trees or in deep canyons. . T 5 and T 5 mini devices transmit your dog's position to your Astro 320 handheld device with a frequency of 5 seconds. With T 5 and T 5 mini dog devices, while tracking more than one dog, you can view the exact distance of each dog on the map page and select the automatic zoom option to see all dogs on the screen at any time. Recovery mode extends battery life by reducing the frequency of updates when battery life drops below 25%, giving you more time searching for a lost dog. Enhanced battery life means it will last from 16 hours (T5/TT 15 mini) to 40 hours (T5/TT 15) when you set the update frequency. In recovery mode, the battery lasts for 24 to 44 hours depending on the dog device used. Plus, ?Collar Lock? feature generates a 4-digit pin number to prevent others from seeing where your dog is. This is a particularly useful function to ensure that Astro is only used as a search tool when a competitive dog is lost.

Additional Maps
Astro 320, a microSD? It has a card slot so you can load TOPO US 24K maps for terrain elevation lines or City Navigator NT® map data to get directions on roads at every turn. The Astro 320 is also compatible with BirdsEye Satellite Imagery (subscription required), so you can download satellite photos to your device and integrate them with your maps. Maps also draw important nearby geographic features on the screen, letting you know when your dog is approaching a creek or dangerous road.
The Astro 320 is also compatible with Garmin Custom Maps, a free software that converts paper or electronic maps into downloadable maps for your device. 
Count Your Herd
Once you've caught your prey, you can use that spot on Astro's Covey Counter. mark with feature. This is a waypoint that shows you the exact location, time and altitude where you caught your prey, and the number of birds you caused or picked up from there.
